The boot is impossible to get on. I am a 7.5 so I ordered an 8. Returning and now order an 8.5 and still hard to get on but finally got my foot in. Going to trying see if I can stretch them. So disappointed because they are niceWanted to like these boots until I noticed the glue on both of the soles started to come off, feel like these are either defected or fakeI bought the olive in a 9.5 even though I’m a 9. I always go up a half size in Steve Madden boots with a heel. Always. And the 9.5 fits perfectly. They are narrow but not any more narrow than a typical boot.By the reviews I was worried about the calf being too tight, but they are actually perfect and roomy and there’s a decent gap between my calf and the boot in the back, which is surprising.I also say someone say they are stiff. Well, yeah, stiff enough that they stay up, but the leather is soft and buttery on the outside. They are structured and intended to stand straight up. They look gorgeous.So sleek, modern and look very expensive. The color is exquisite and very unique.The boots were not as tan as I liked. Also they were stiff! Not flexible enough!These boots look cute, but quality is very disappointing. The leather is stiff and I noticed some whitish marks forming around the natural crease lines after just a few seconds wearing them around the house. Lining is made of some harsh mesh-like material that doesn't feel very comfortable against the skin. Very surprised by such a low quality product from this brand!! I didn't keep them, returned right away.The boot is very classy looking. Heel is tall but wide enough to make it easy to walk in. I wore them to a funeral and did not have to worry about the heel getting stuck in the mud at the graveyard.Bought a 9.5 to be sure and the fit is amazing. Long enough for short or long dresses, skirts, etc. Caught the price at the right time and very pleased with the quality.This is a gorgeous pair of boots. I searched everywhere looking for these boots in my size.
