As a gal with sturdy calves, finding tall boots that fit has always been a challenge. After ruining the zipper on my last pair of tall riding boots, I began looking for their replacement. While I wasn't necessarily looking for a pair with a heel, these ended up being my best option from a price perspective and overall aesthetic appeal. These are a very cute boot, and are well made. They were well packaged and arrived looking great. They are a bit loose at the top, but it's a good problem to have when your alternative is trying to squeeze your calf into a boot that fits like a sausage casing. A couple of other reviews mention that the boots have a western look about them. I'm not sure that I agree, but then again, I'm not sure that I know how best to classify the look of boots. I would say that these are a more casual style than some tall boots. I would feel comfortable wearing them with dresses, jeans and leggings. I probably wouldn't wear them to a club, but that's not really my jam anyway.
