I love a good pink shoe! I actually love shoes in general and consider them 'Foot Art'.I originally picked these up to wear with an outfit, not really a costume, but something for a themed party. I know it's crazy, but I intended to wear these with the dress, then pack them away until I needed them again. I never expected to fall in love with these as much as I have- so much so that I purposely pick out clothes/outfits to match so I can wear them all the time! AND...I ordered them in black too. Couldn't help it...I love 'em!These arrived quickly, well packaged in a studry, branded shoe box. Inside, each shoe was individually bagged, packed with paper to keep the shape and every buckle was wrapped/protected with tissue. These look super heavy, and difficult to walk in, but they aren't either. I weighed these with two different scales and both showed that one size 9 shoe weighs just over 1lb (1.09lbs to be exact). That is just slightly more than one size 7Y AF1 weighs (1.06lbs)! So while they do have some weight, they aren't so heavy that it's hard to lift your foot/leg or walk properly. The rubber sole provides a nice, non-slip surface that grips the floor well. The 5.75" heel is nice and wide, about 2", so you aren't wobbly at all. And, even though the heel is pretty high, it's very well balanced out by the 2'' high double platform. It's not like walking in a sneaker, but they are way easier to walk in than a stiletto or even other heels in general. There is still a decent arch (the shape of the shoe, not relative to arch support) , but the shoe isn't terribly uncomfortable. Once again, the double platform really balances the heel well and takes a ton of pressure off the balls of the feet. The footbed has a slight padding, which feels nice for a while but flattens out quickly. It's still better than nothing. The only part of this shoe that wasn't all that comfortable in the beginning, but got better over time, was the counter. It comes up really high on the back of the foot, past the ankle bone, and it zips (which makes these really easy to get on and off), so there's not a ton of flexibility at first. I definitely needed to wear bandaids back there the first few times I wore these. The toe box is roomy and doesn't pinch or crowd the toes at all. The straps are accomidating and thick ankle approved. The overall support and stability of the shoe is pretty great. These aren't at all wobbly, and the straps are well positioned to hold your foot in the shoe and the shoe on your foot. I don't feel like I'm falling out of these or my foot isn't supported at all. The arch on the outsole is VERY stable, studry and supportive. The material is a soft, decent quality faux leather that isn't matte, but has a bit of shine to it. The pink color isn't screaming neon or even bubble gum, rather a very saturated, cool pink. Also suprising is how versatile these are. Of course they are adorable with dresses and skirts, but they also look fantastic with jeans, slacks and even leggings! My only issue is with the quality.I really tried to put this in perspective relative to the price (I think these are VERY reasonably priced!) but even being affordable, there were some things I have to mention-*When looking at the inside of the heal (where the seam of the material is) there is a very visable white stripe down the whole length of the heel. It's almost like they didn't cut the faux leather large enough or they just didn't attach it well enough. It's obvious and takes away from the overall aesthetic.*When these arrived, the footbed lining was already lifting from the shoe around the edges. There either wasn't enough glue used, it wasn't strong enough, or the lining wasn't held in place to set.*There's a few areas around the double platform that are wavy/bumpy.*This is me REALLY looking carefully, but there's some visable glue spots in between the outsole and shoe. You absolutely can't see them when the shoes are on your feet, but I feel it's important to note every little thing I notice in my reviews. Here's the thing-Even with the few, very minor construction issues, this really isn't a bad shoe at all! It is unique, suprisingly comfortable to walk in and...these are VERY affordable! At the time of this review, these are less than $35! To me that is insane, considering how much shoe there is here and, even after a dozen or so wears, they are still in great shape! I've spent almost double this price on an unbranded shoe before and they were no where near as nice as these! It was actually this low price that spurred me to order the black pair too.If your even considering ordering these, just DO IT! Once you get them on your feet and see how cute they are and how great they make your legs (and backside) look, I think you will fall in love too!*I'm an avid reader of reviews and lean on other people's word heavily before I spend my money. When I write my reviews, I fill them with details that I would want to see/know about. So while my reviews are long, they are HONEST. I really strive to help other customers make wise, informed decisions on how to spend thier money, just like they do for me. I hope my review helps!
