Finally a real wide calf boot with a comfortable heel. I have always had what my mama termed 'big legs' even when I was a dress size 8 and have trouble finding boots with a wide enough calf to be comfortable (at least 17 inches). These boots are super cute, comfortable and fit my calves without some 'stuff' hanging over the side. The boot height is high and fits just below the knee which makes wearing them with dresses above the knee so cute.These boots look nice and as another reviewer also noted, runs a bit small. I regularly order size 13M but I took the advice and ordered 13C/D. That fit ok, however, the top is too wide. it measured 21.5" around, not 18" as stated on this page. I have to return this...Had to return it, I was expecting a comfort boot but it was painful. The calf area ( mine is close to 17.5") fits very good. I never tried this brand, I will try it again but in different style.The calf on these boots are too wide. The boots themselves are very nice. Would be great for someone with large calves.These are incredible. I look for every possible excuse to wear them. The wide shaft hugs my annoyingly large calves perfectly
